Yeah, V1 was not good and there is a new crew overseeing what is going on now in development and updating the current user base. |

Mine's still on the shelf, NIB...I almost forgot I had it. It's sitting next to my Ecotech Vectra L1 that I forgot I bought...then Reeflo dart/snapper hybrid that I bought and ended up not using because the current one is still a rock star...I think there's a Reef Octopus NW150 in there also NIB...a Reef Angel that I bought cheap off someone, still haven't touched that...let's see, what else is in my equipment hording graveyard....4 ReefBreeders LED fixtures that I bought used to put on a tank to replace a T5HO fixture, haven't gotten around to that yet either...a few BRS dual reactors...some freebie food from MACNA 2011, I think it's that gel seafood in a sealed pack you don't have to refrigerate, I'm sure that's still good...a handful of those inline reactor cartridges that BRS used to sell but stopped because they worked and were too cheap...a couple things of Kalkwasser...a 40 Breeder...a new 75g undrilled...a 125g...a Synergy Reef Shadow overflow NIB...I could go on...
I'll patiently wait for my V2 Cerebra, at this point if it turns out they have been scamming people all along I would really be surprised, I mean who would purposefully string people along for more than a year and then say "hey sorry we were just kidding, you're all screwed out of your money and enjoy your paperweight controller HAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAH" Right. I understand people are ticked off though, I do. But to start calling Vertex scammers, that's a stretch. Bad mojo, yeah. They'll have a tough time recovering, that's for sure. If I get my V2 and it's awesome, then that's just a present at this point.

I like competition in the market, but this one fell short.

Last I saw on the Cerebra website/forum, they have boards in and are assembling units.

They announced details for exchanging V1 for the new V2 units. Seems to be progressing towards new version units being in people’s hands within a month or so. We’ll see what reviews come after that point.

So now that they don't want us to send in our old caps to the controller to replace for the new ones when ever they come out. What do we do with the olds ones mines still in the box new never used it.

How's that "transparency community" only for Cerebra owners these days?

The new “deadline” is December. Hey if you don’t set em, you can’t miss em. At least they are setting them. They are very close however. You can go back to sleep now for another 6 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I get less riled up about my brick in a box when I ignore everything and then wake up surprised that there is a new something out I can swap for. So I'll stick with that strategy lol

I think it is close but all of the orange fan boys are now required to bash the product as it had some glitches in the past to say the least. I hope this is a great product for all and it give one another option in the monopoliezed controller market. Who know a few more competitors out prices could fall and everyone wins.
Now back to the hate and negativity
