copperband butterfly fish and aiptasia?

i have at least 2 aiptasia in my tank. 2 month ago i introduced about 2.5'' copperband butterfly fish in it, and fish is not interested in aiptasia.
the aiptasia is over 1'' in diameter.
is my fish to small to eat them?
is my fish to new to the tank?
is my fish possibly will never have interest in eating it?

Some eat them.. some don't..
If there is other food it may never go after the aiptasia..

If you just have a few inject some kalk or boiling water into it or don't even worry about it..

It's hit and miss with CBB's. I added mine two years ago because I love the fish and if it ate aptasia that would be a plus. Unfortunately it didn't.
