Had to remove clowns for anemone introduction.
I bought and introduced a new healthy mag 6" across. I had an adult pair of true wild perculas . First night i noticed the clown ripping tentacles off. I thought it was temporary but 2 days later anemone was on the move and it seems that it brought its side into its mouth. I'm guessing it's where the tentacles were ripped off. Remained like this for days and it started to deflate. it seems like it's hiding the wound. I decided to remove the clowns and treat the nem. Treatment seems to have worked well and mouth is now visible and tight. Placed in display and it has not moved.
Moral of the story is it may be necessary to introduce nem before the clowns. |

I think especially when the anemone is stressed, clowns can only irritate further. Good post, hope your mag makes it.
