ID Zooplankton (inside LTA) ?
I would really like to know if anybody knows about these little things, I linked a video of the biggest one.
I noticed them when they seemed smaller, and thought they might by Copepods of some kind but looking at the shape now, it is not likely. Any input would be greatly appreciated, as I can't find anything mentioning anything like it on the web. Video of the Zooplankton: https://youtu.be/-8pxR3D6DpY |

Are you sure that you are not seeing a critter on the underside of the anemone? I have never hear of any zooplankton living inside an anemone. If it is inside, I hope it is a symbiotic relationship and not predatory.

I thought they had to be on the outside but they are inside the tissue. The LTA does not seem bothered by their presence. Someone suggested it might be eggs.
I guess fertilised eggs grow inside the Nem until they are ready to be released but I just now started reading up on that part of anemone life since the kind person suggested the possibility. |
