The first tank was made by Skalar. The second one by eRybka.pl
These are local Polish manufacturers.

Update.
I removed the old DIY calcium reactor and installed the Pacific Sun AC2 with degassing chamber and dedicated dosing pump.

I changed the lighting. Instead of old Pacific Sun Diuna T5 14 x 54 W I bought two ATI Powermodule T5 lamps 6 x 54 W. It's now possible to order white glossy paint, it fits perfect.

Gem tang has a new friend - Acanthurus achilles.

Everything looks awesome! Set up, corals, fish, definitely TOTM level!

Could you share your current measurements, maintenance routines and nutrient export method? Any coral supplements?
What are you using in the in-sump reactors and for biological filtration?
How new light fixture and Ca reactor compare vs previous?

Thank you but I think the aquarium is still far away from the TOTM level.

Here are measurements from September:

The measurements were taken when the old Ca reactor was turned off for a month and the new one just started working. That's why Ca is extremaly low.

I make 120 l water change every week (or two). I use Instant Ocean salt. There are 3 filters (2.5 l each): Rowa Phos, active carbon and Reef Interests biopellets XL. This month I started using Aquaforest microelements and coral suplements. Hope it help to get better colours.

New lighting seems to be much better than the old one. Although there is 2 T5 bulbs less aquarium is much brighter. I noticed that corals that are placed near bottom started to grow. I put the same T5 bulbs so I'm sure the change is caused by the lamp.

My old Ca reactor was simple DIY, had some leaks. I really needed to replace it. The new one works good. Its only weakness is the noise caused by dosing pump.

Nice tank.

Quick question. I noticed you have a Maxspect Gyre on the side there. How is that working and what do you have it set on? If you don't mind me asking. I have a 240 that I'm setting up and trying to figure out how I will use the one I have. I think I'm going to use a pair of Sea Swirls on the returns so was thinking of placing it similar to the way you have yours. I am having difficulty picturing how the water flows when the overflow is in place and the returns...

This setup is SO cool!

Great attention to detail. I am slowly removing my sand too, unfortunately I would have to find a new home for my Potter's wrasse if I wanted to remove it all, and we love him so it is a tough decision. The SPS love the flow and lower nutrients that no-sand provides!

Keep up the good work!

Beautiful achilles tang! I'm rushing to get my 180 up and running so I can get one. Also glad I'm not the only one who factored in my reef tank into the house buying process! Haha...gotta make sure there is enough room!
