Yeah, but it looks like the 1/8” to 1/4” barb fitting is required. In your photo, it looks like the fitting attaches to clips on the pump that keeps the Pharmed BPT tubing from slipping.

That it does.
When I receive the pump I was more concerned about trying it out to make sure it works as I needed it too.
Now that I have more time and I understand how the connections are made, I will be investigating a more simpler method of connecting 1/4” RODI tubing to the pump.

I also used the supplied silicone tubing to make my connections to 1/4 rodi tubing. I decided to use the larger diameter tubing to make the final connection to the rodi tubing.
I was not sure which items to order from usplastics. It appears to require the use of their connection, so that it can be secured to the pump bracket.

Ive been happy with the pump so far(6weeks).I'm hoping it lasts a long time. I will be happier when it's reduced to minimal fittings, preferbly john guest types.

I think what we both have is as smooth as it gets--- but I'm willing to listen & learn.

Bulkreefsupply just did their spotlight on the pump. I will pick up those stem adapters to connect to Rodi.

So in a thread over on the other big forum, I appears the BRS has changed their description of the roller head replacement from 2000 hours to 9000 hours. Once a year replacement seems much more reasonable!

https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/repla...tp-kamoer.html

“Replacement 6-roller head assembly for the Kamoer FX-STP Dosing Pump. Over time it is common for the rollers to start to wear and cause additional friction, which can slow the pumps motor and require additional electricity to operate. We recommend changing the pump head assembly every 9000 hours, or as needed.”

Spit balling here but, if we ran the pump with 3 rollers instead of 6 I think the flow rate would increase because of the separation between rollers.
We could then slow down the pump & have a spare set of rollers to boot.

Yup, that would work.

Good thinking!

IF BRS is @ MACNA I will see if they have a head for the pump around.
OR better yet I could just order 1 for pickup!

.126 ID X .252 OD x.063 Wall is what was listed when I purchased the pump so that's what I got.

Should also extend the life of the tubing since the rollers will only be hitting the tubing half the time.

OK --Notified of shipping on the hose so I might be able to get it out this week.
Time to collect addresses. PM would probably be the best unless you don't care if the rest of the world knows where you live.

OK --Mailed everyone's package today except Solitude - requested delayed delivery,
& Moondoggy - we are meeting up in Vegas.
Length of tubing comes to $6.02 add $1.09 for shipping on the order
$7.11 x 10 = $71.10 Exact Cost of the roll.
Then shipping to you. Had to use 2 different boxes - PO did not have enough.
I will PM everyone with total including shipping.
Prices of box is on the ends & postage is on the box so you have all the #'s
There is a copy of the Data Sheet inside every bag, it was just made so we know it's fresh stuff.
I have tracking if you want it but it went 1st Class Mail & should be there before end of next week absolute latest, none are listed over 3 days.
As far as PayPal-- wait for package & then pay as friends & family - you will pay the fees. Easier than trying to figure it out & you have merchandise.
Thanks to all for your participation & understanding.
