aquamaxx NF-1 vs WS-1

Ok so im putting together plans to build my 30g cube with 15g sump. i plan on stocking predominately sps with a light to moderate fish stock, or so is the plan lol. I like the aquamaxx brand and have had my eye on the WS-1 but im now wondering about the Nf-1. In the past when i oversized my skimmer i wasn't too pleased with the skimmate i was getting. So what are your opinions on either of those for my proposed reef? Or does anyone have other recommendations? TIA

I have a 25 gallon tank with about 10 gallons in the sump. I have two bleenys in the tank and a couple of corals, I just set up this tank and going slow. I have a Aqua Maxx WS-1 and it works. I am getting skimmate, small tanks are hard to skim, way to easy to oversize your skimmer. It is a small skimmer that sits in about 9" of water. I am happy with the skimmer, it is quiet. I am not familiar with the other skimmer.

I have a WS-1 on my Red Sea Reefer 170 and I feel it's properly sized. I have 2 clowns, pink bar goby, purple firefish and a golden assessor. IME, the WS-1 would be good for anything in the 20g - 40g range.

Where did you get the tubing for the drain tubing out of the collection cup? I want to make mines a littler longer since I keep my cup higher?

But I"m getting a lot of overflow now.
