Silicone airline tubing
I am considering getting some silicone airline tubing for my dosing pumps. Specifically one made by Cobalt which I saw on Marine Depot. It has an inside diameter of 4mm which I think is just over 1/8". I want to attach one end over 1/4" rigid acrylic tubing. I am wondering if it will stretch that far. I believe silicone can stretch quite a bit. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks

I did exactly that about 6 years ago when I started dosing. I have not touched the tubing since and it is performing flawlessly.
Also - if you need "elbows" in your rigid tubing - fill it with some dry sand and then use a lighter to soften the tubing. The sand will keep it from kinking. Once cool, the sand will [pour right out. HTH!
