Nothing new,one gorgonian and a acan are dead because one of my filters is broken. The organic substance is all decomposed and nearly killed my yellow tang.

Oh, ouch. Sorry to hear that. So what kind of filter are you going to buy next? Have you been checking out your lfs recently for nice pieces of corals?

I am sorry to tell you that I won't buy new corals recently because Taiwanese wholesalers stopped importing Aussie and Carribean corals, the only corals available are cheap Indonesian euphyllias and SPS. I only spend my money on the rarest and the most unique specimens. I just bought another KOTOBUKI canister because it's still one of the most convenient filters available.

The cynarina is CRAZY.The wholesaler told me Tawanese fishstores are having a price war especially on fish and corals from certain places like the U.S.,Australia,and Red Sea. The prices are sooooo low that you can obtain a rainbow acan colony for about 50USD.The profits on these corals became damn low so the wholesaler decided to control the amount of fish and corals from these region so that the price will turn rise to normal standards again.

O wow, rainbow acan colony for $50 is really cheap. You should obtain 1 if you don't have 1 yet, now's the chance. I wish I was living in taiwan...

Do you guys feed your yuma's? I have a pink yuma that has had 5-6 babies in the past year. I wonder if feeding it would produce more offspring?
