Tunze Stream 3
Hi,
Is it possible to get the blue grates/flow deflector etc. in black at all? Outside the tank they look dark purple, but once in the tank they are the colour of the bright blue silicone buffers. I know this is the tunze blue but given that the pump is quite a large lump I would prefer it minimise its visual presence! Thanks, James |

It is not, but generally speaking, these parts quickly become coralline encrusted and the color does not matter at that point.

That's a real shame. I have a black background and even though coralline will grow, it never truly covers all areas and tbh, needs a citric acid bath once in a while just to keep the coralline in check. I removed my Vortech's as they weren't effective on the rear wall but they had minimal visibility, but the Stream 3 while being a far better pump IMO, is just in your face. Will need to rethink...
