How long before I add some snails??

I just started a build. Tank is about 5 months old now. I added all base rock, 80#s of base sand, and 5#s of live sand. I have two fish right now and everything is doing great. I have no algae what so ever.

The reason why I am in a hurry to add some cleaners is becasue of reef2go's sale right now. You can get 50 turbos or astrea snails for $20!!!!

Go or no go?

If you don't have an algae I wouldn't worry about it. The snails will likely starve and just make the tank messier. That is a good deal on snails, but I have a hard time seeing them survive without an excess of algae.

Yeah that is what I am thinking. I might add some blue leg hermits for cleanup from food.
Won't fix what isn't broken.
