How long can a GBTA hide?
I introduced a GBTA on the 15th and for awhile it was half in/half out of the rocks but now its hiding down in the rocks. Foot looks fine and I can still see the tentacles, I don't believe any of the fish are harassing it either. How long have you seen your BTA's stay in hiding?

Mine never hid before. But I assume it should come out in about a week (longest) since they need energy from the light.

I noticed that people who drip acclimate do not seem to have that problem. I also had the same problem and I didn't drip acclimate.
It def. needs time to adjust. Could take a couple weeks up to months. They're animals and if they're stressed it can take a while. What are your water parameters? Po4/No3, sg, etc. ? |
