Dood, seriously sweet looking LPS pieces!! Can't you crack them off the plugs and place in the sand though? I think it would clean up the look a ton until they grow out.

At any rate, looking awesome and this is the 2nd time now that you have made me want to setup an LPS tank!

Thanks! Yes, I plan to bust them off the plugs, but want to give them plenty of time to heal up from being chopped recently. Once they are eating regularly and puffing up, then I'll glue them to the rocks. Don't want to stress them any more...

Guess it is time to setup an LPS tank huh?

Thanks, yeah some don't like the fruit basket look, but I would love for it to look like a candy bowl! I've mounted half the frags to the rock work, it really helped open up the sandbed and once the remaining acans are recovered and puffing, I'll work on mounting them as well. More pics soon.

Fish update... My Helfrichi is MIA so I'm done with them! Going back to the cheap ones! . 3 firefish are inbound along with a fire shrimp, Randall goby, and some snails... Also hooked the turf scrubber back up, starting to see much more algae on the glass from all the aminos in dosing and food I'm feeding. Hope it doesn't take too long to get back into producing.

UPDATE:
Got my fish order in yesterday afternoon... 7 Astrea Snails are doing great, 10 large Nassarius Snails are buried and eating like pigs when I feed the tank. 3 Firefish are battling with the Royal Gramma and Perc Clown, and my Randall Goby is chillin on the sand bed causing no drama. The Fire Shrimp didn't make the shipment, so I'll try for that next time. Thinking about picking up a Maxima Clam, but need to sell a couple more pieces that are taking more room than they are worth. Once they sell I'll likely add the clam in their place.

Beautiful tank. Are you still happy with the AI module?

At first I loved the light, then over time my corals starting turning brown or just losing color, and I considered selling it. Before I sold it, I decided I'd try putting more nutrients in the water... Now I again love the light. DON'T STARVE YOUR CORALS! lol

hey, what size PVC pipe did you use in the kalk reactor to push the fluid to bottom? I bought the rodi can but can't seem to find the right size pipe fit inside.

sorry if you already answered that and i missed it, I'm standing in home depot on my phone typing lol!

Your LPS are really stunning. Would you recommend the AI Sol? I'm thinking of getting one.

A great looking and colorful tank. Gotta say though, I miss the old one but can certainly understand the practical reasons for the switch. Could use your advice regarding a similar project. Sent you a PM.

I saw on another forum that he broke the tank down last summer. This was a very nice tank, too.
