Getting to know Tucson reefers

Anyone who doesn't mind please introduce yourself. I've met a lot of you in person but not all of you. Please tell your name, profession and what ever your comfortable with. Tank info and background would be cool too. Would be awesome if we could get some tank pics going too. All you lurkers i'm talking to you also. I know your out there. You know who you are, dont make me name names.

Alright, I will go first.
Most of my into is in my signature but I will post a tank shot and I am an Iron worker for all of you that have not heard me complain about it yet. Here is my 125 mixed reef. Please excuse the cyano I have defeated it since this pic.

Hi, I'm Tim, I have a 14g Bio Cube reef right now, and have a 40g breeder with 4 t5s, 29g sump, TF300A skimmer, red sea 100 ozonizer, problem is I bumped the returm bulk head and craked the tank, so I have to get a new tank and get it drilled and all that jazz. I work in a call center and I am a mechanic a heart. Besides that, I haven't gotten very far in life yet, so my career doesn't exist at the moment.

Hi I’m Carlos and I’m a reefaholic. I’ve had this addiction for 3yrs. Current DT is a rimless oceanic w/ a lot of flow and too many corals (yes that is possible). I have a 60gal plumbed inline with my DT also. My systems are mainly SPS. I have a upgrade that I will be working on in the near future. I plan to focus on a simple aquascape with a lot of large pieces.

Hello, my name is Brent aka "Rhino"; I nick name I got from my co-workers. I work in a field of "public relations" where I wear many different "hats". I've been into saltwater tanks off and on over the past ten yrs, and into reef tanks for the past year and half. I currently have a 110 gallon mixed reef. I've met a few fellow reefers at various auctions and look forward to meet more. I really enjoy this hobby. Here's some pics of my set up, enjoy!!

My name is Alex and I manage money for retired people for a living.

I have a 300g tank with octopus skimmer and all kinds of stuff underneath the tank. I am working on setting up my 120g frag tank so I can have fun stuff to bring to the next auction hopefully! I am trying to move into SPS more now.

Really my name is Gary but I am not as good looking as the guy in my last post, I am a production supervisor in the electronic industry. I have been in the hobby for 10+ years and have a forever changing 180 reef.

Now were talking. We are still missing a few. This could turn out to be a pretty cool thread. Everyone please post all the pics you want and update as often as you wish. Love all the Tucson reefs. Anyone who hasnt seen them in person I encourage you to get out there and check em out, these pics dont even compare to the real thing. Lots of really cool people out there to meet also. I still have a few to see myself and cant wait to meet the few of you I haven't met yet.

Well? If you'ld just make it to a Frag Auction once in awhile you wouldn't have to meet people on the internet, lol. January Auction will give preference to your availibility this time, so no excuses! I'ld hold the Red Planet I promised you over your head but the new light turned it pink for now. Doing great for everything else but the Red Planet, lol.

Tucson had one frag auction in like 10 years and I missed it. Trust me I wasn't happy about it. I will see you at the next one. In the mean time I need to come check out those solar panels one day. Im not in any hurry for the Red Planet, I can wait.

Yea, thought our electric bill was gonna be $7.52 again, instead was $.91. They cleared our credit this month, $.25 on the dollar. And thats with the new light running 10 hours.

Hi, I'm Sarah. I have a 90 gallon (mostly LPS, some softies, lots of zoas, a few SPS). There are about 15 fish in the tank. I've been in the hobby for about 10 years now. This is the best pic I could get, as I have a really hard time taking full-tank shots for some reason.

I'm a scientist -- I work for an engineering firm. I live with my fiance Christian, our six cats, two dogs and two guinea pigs.
