My name is Ben. My sorry cellphone pix don't do justice to my tanks. That is why I have not posted yet. For Christmas, I am very seriously considering asking a professional photographer to shoot my tanks. In the meantime, you'll just have to use your imagination:

Display:
A rimless 57g Illuminata under a 2 x 250w Sunpod with 20K XM bulbs and an Ecoxotic Stunner; a dramatic open rockscape featuring mostly LPS, especially acans, a rainbow sampling of fungia, three varieties of frogspawn, a softball-sized colony of candy canes, two specimens of magenta ornamental algae, and a cranky crocea clam. Inhabited by a magnificent if bashful fireshrimp, a skittish Okinawa goby, and a hungry neon blue goby. Soon to be the home of a cruising pair of bangaii cardinals and some sort of sexy wrasse and/or purpluscious firefish.

Frag:
A custom LeeMar shallow build under a Sunpod 1x150 Phoenix 14K, occupied at present mostly by scrub frags: softies and candy canes, but also a spectacular ultra-fultra green and blue crocea The Likes of Which You've Never Seen and a magnificent pearl bubble coral the size of a 1987 Volkswagon Rabbit. And Pancho, the Wonder Clown.

Hi, I'm new on this board. I have a BioCube29 going strong for over a year now Linking to other forums is not permitted

Here's a recent full tank shot:

with 20+ pieces of coral, and 5 fish; Tomato Clown, Green Clown Goby, Tail-Spot Blenny, Half-Barred Goby, and a Six-Line Wrasse...

I am strongly considering upgrading to 125+ soon where I can expand and learn about new things like sumps, 'fuge's, skimmers, and carbon reactors...

Hi all,
Haven't been on here for a while, but enjoy catching up on the threads when I have a chance. I'm a marine biologist and microbiologist. These days I'm actually working mostly in freshwater with endangered desert species. Just for a little fun, here are a few pics of my latest project - a 4000 gallon habitat simulation for Devils Hole Pupfish.
BTW John, that macro tank is phenomenal!

Hi, fellow Tucsonians.

Been in the area since 2006. Hobby since 1986, simple set up. Current tank is a JBJ 28 gal 150w HQI, with a Phoenix bulb.

No modifications. West Coast chiller 1/15. Removed skimmer and fuge and sold equipment in anticapation of moving and selling the tank. Well long story short the tank is up and running again. Dominated by sps, gsp (back wall), xenia, duncan, various mushroom and zoanthids. Two large and mean B/W misbars, one YWG and a tiger shrimp.

FTS to follow after new rockwork.

Cali tort frag.

Neon green tort.

Red planet and tri-color.

Lunar Eclipse.

Duncan.

Thank you for viewing.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Cuong and I've been a saltwater enthusiast in Tucson for over the last 10+ years. I'm married to Stella and have 2 lovely daughters. Stella's father, Jason, got me into the hobby when I met Stella. Before then I was mostly raising Koi. I just got started on Reef Central, so thought I would introduce myself and post pictures of my tank.

I have a 300 gallon mixed reef aquarium, with 3 x 400 Watt Metal Halides, a Calcium Reactor, and Skimmer. The following are some pictures of my tank.

The whole tank - I enjoy all the activity that corals and fish bring.
Whole Tank

Here's my favorite view from the side of my tank, I love this view because of the depth that gives my reef, makes me feel like I'm snorkeling on the reef.
Side of Tank

Left of Tank - My favorite coral on this side of the tank is the large scroll coral, I've had that coral for 10+ years, it is the original coral that got me started.
Left of Tank

Middle of Tank - I've got Pavona, Blastos, Torches, Leathers, etc. I like the variety of a mixed reef.
Middle of Tank

Right of Tank - My giant clam has been in one of my tanks for about 7 years, it has grown quite a bit. I also have an island of various types of euphylias, star polyps, and a ricordia.

I work in Information Technology Consulting and Sales, where I help customers create IT solutions for their business. My saltwater aquarium gives me a fun hobby and escape from my work. Also, thanks to my hobby with saltwater aquariums, I have also started on my hobby of wood working, as I build the cabinets and canopy for my aquarium.
