Hey guys and girls I would like some suggestions regarding which type of Goby to get. I have a 100 gallon tank and want a Goby with a lot of personality
![]() My clowns, puffer, and hawkfish all have awesome personalities. Any Goby is alright Was looking at the Diamond Goby and Engineer Goby, but which ones are your favorites?

I'd choose Diamond over Engineer. They're hardy, get a decent size, readily eat prepared foods (feed them a lot in a new tank since the sandbed won't have enough critters in it for them to eat) & won't destroy your 'scape by tunneling under everything in the tank but will just make a burrow or two. They also have tons of personality & will enjoy watching you as much as you do them.

Don't even dare to get an Engineer ! They play with sand, knock down the rocks, bury your corals under the sand. You will be mad like I did !
I recommend yellow watchman or tiger goby

Diamond is great because they help keep your sand clean.
Any type of watchman also has great personality and they pair up with pistol shrimp which is fun to watch.
