Anyone use electrical conduit to hang there reflectors?

If you use electrical conduit to hang your pendants please post on how you have it rigged. I plan on going this route to hang 2 LB reflectors but needs some insight on how to bend and attach to stand or wall. I'm thinking might be attach to the wall but I dont want to see unsightly brackets. any ideas on the best way to go about this?

If the stand is bigger than the tank, I'd drill a hole in the stand for the conduit and use brackets on the inside.

Can you explain? Where would the brackets go if I drill into the stand?

Thanks for link Ian. Seems to be blocked here at work. I'll check it out when I get home.

Yeah I have mine setup like this. By far the cheapest and easiest way to hang at light. I just went to home depot and found the conduit, and used one of the benders they have for sale to make the 90 degree angle. lol I then just got these little cheap aluminum brackets that wrap around the pole and then drilled some wood screws into the side of my stand. I think you may have actually seen it. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hey Taylor, yeah I remember your set up. Hows it going btw? I was too busy admiring your tank that I never even noticed how you had your pendant suspended over.

Haha well thanks again. Things are doing better actually. I changed around the aquascape and the SPS seems to be more happy now. Hows your setup?

Good to hear, mines doing pretty good. Everything is thriving. In the works of an upgrade....I was supposed to get my new tank today but there was a delay in the materials getting shipped to the manufacturer so I should have my new tank by sometime next week hopefully. Doing a custom 48x24x20 eurobraced tank. Was gonna go 48x30x18 but it would stick out too far where I'm placing it.
