This Blenny....
This Blenny is not dead. He believes he is hiding in his home. This is what he believes is safe and comfy. #notdead

There's a weirdo in every family. "Two in mine actually."

My starry blenny hides in a hole in a rock. His only problem is he has gotten so fat he doesn't fit. Just his tail is the only thing in the hole, yet he still thinks he's hiding. #sillyfish

What kind of blenny is this brilliant totally-not-dead fish?
I love the goofball ones.

Yes, ID please, it looks like a Tilefish to me and not a blenny at all. Still funny behaviour all the same.

Yeah sorry I mislabeled him. I took this picture at a fish store. He is a purple tilefish.

So your purple tilefish is ashamed of himself and wants to be a Bleeny. So you should encourage him to be himself and we can all support that. HTH

My cats do the same thing in their tunnel. Their heads are in it and about 2/3’s of their body sticks out and they think they are hidden. Pretty funny.
