finally got the broken led repaired. so nice to have white over the whole tank
Pic update! never seen the polyps on this one. any idea why its got no polyps when the setosa next to it is fine? this guy is turning green one on corner.. not sure why

if alot of the pics look a lil cloudy i had just cleaned the tank and rake the sand. i'll try to get a better FTS tonight when things settle a lil more

Hey Jcoll, its a canon t1i (DSLR) with a 17-85 usm lens. White balance is set to 7000k. Could be a lil whiter but I aint complaining!

Redid the rock again.. Think i'm finally happy with it for a while. Its down to 6 pieces of rock. weighing about 40lbs total. i'm doing three islands.

Do you use a wet/dry for biological filtration? Doesn't seem like there's enough rock for that.

Finally an update lol
I think i've determined my sand was leaching phosphates. So, picked up two buckets of medium grain white sand and swapped it. This should bring tank maitenence down a lot too as my sock won't constantly be clogged with the sugar sand. Stock list is now: Yellow tang hoevans wrasse yellow coris wrasse blue damsel (still gotta catch him) zebra dartfish chromis pink spotted goby and rock placement has stayed the same
