I'm sorry if it has been asked, what is the fish in the very first picture? It is green with reddish/orange spots and a long nose. Thank you!

It is bulbs replacement day on my EZ550reef!
Replacment of the 6x T5 bulbs should have been done long ago. 4x were 9.5 months old 2x were 14 months old I saw the colors of the corals on the bottom slowly deteriorate for a few months. This process had been going on for more than 3 months. In accordance with the requirement to replace the lamps every 6 months at SPS corals. happy DSR reefer |

if you don't know better corals do look like fake artefacts.
They are so beautiful and unreal at their full glory. That's why is switched to saltwater aquariums in back in 2004 after a lifetime with freshwater tanks. happy DSR reefer |

Another set op top down pictures
The coral are interweaved into each other. By letting them sort it oit themselves you get a very natural look. happy DSR reefer |

It would be nice to have some feedback or tought though. That's what i meant with dull. After all we all learn from the feedback. It may inspire me to do even better. This reefing hobby is not dull at all happy DSR reefer |

Glenn,
From the picture above, it looks like you do not have a protective cover for your bulbs. It looks like only the ends are protected. Is this correct? Also, how far above the water do you run your lights? Thanks, Dean |

I was quite annoyed bij the histrix
To much work cleaning the front window also space, flow and light limitation due to this massive coral. It was time for a small rescape. happy DSR reefer |
