Best option for 1 drainpipe?

Currently I am using the Durso method for my drain standpipe... I only have one hole drilled for the drain. I really like the BeanAnimal method for quietness, but that uses a total of 3 drains... is there a better option for one drain than the Durso?

Hoffman gurgle buster is another option, but the durso should do the trick to mostly quite down your drain, if you still have noise up top there is something wrong with the durso layout, if it is silent up top but loud in the sump, then you have to look at how to quite that down (filter socks help)

Yeah, you are right...mostly it is just the trickling down the pipe and in the sump...maybe I'll try throttling back the return pump to slow down flow a little bit.

I like the Gurgle Buster also, but no matter the drain I would add an emergency drain, either by drilling a new hole or adding an over the top overflow box.
