Sorry about the late response, one problem may be thet the trigger isn't getting enough protein as well. Flake food isn't really going to sustain a trigger and I would see if you can start putting some meat on her bones by feeding some meaty seafoods. I would get some fish, shrimp, clam, scallop, or other meaty seafood and make some fish food, mince the seafood or use a food processor and freeze with a little water, I also add vitamins and garlic to the mash as well.

Current Tank Info: 180 gallon soft coral reef, sailfin and kole tangs, doliatus and bicolor rabbitfish, majestic angel, pair of true percs, orangetail filefish, and a pair of yellowtail blue damsels.

Do you have a recipe that I could use for the trigger.. When I feed clams, mysis or live brine she takes to long to come out an get food, she usually only gets a few . But when I put flakes she goes crazy and gets the lions share. So how could I add that extra protien for the trigger since she seems to like flakes more

Start with flakes, and then toss some more flakes in with meaty foods.

why didn't I think of that. I would normally do the opposite do meats dirt then flakes .. -___-
