Controlling a fan or low voltage device?
I scoured the DA website checking the specs for various modules and accessories and cannot seem to find the info I am looking for... I am wondering what the voltage is for various switch ports on some of the modules; more specifically, can anything be used to control, say, a 12v fan? I am looking at the ALC, SL2, and SW5 - can any of these modules be used to achieve this?

No..they are non powered ports. ANy device you use must have it's own power supply. The switches on an SL1, SL2, and SW5 are for open/close status only through passive switch devices, such as a float switch or magnetic contact.
Any attempt to raw power through these ports can damage your controller. |
