Crocea appears to be moving or other?
Crocea at top of tank for 2 mos. He is anchored down and he seemed happy.
I came home today to notice he is bascially sideways on the rock now, although he is very securely anchored. Is the clam moving or other? |

The rock is epoxied down and it has not shifted.
The clam is at a 70 degree angle on the rock. He was facing straight up to the light. I can see the threads still holding him on the rock, and if i try to straighten him he's still anchored down and not movable. |

The act of Tridacna relocating/adjusting their position on the reef, if they havent already bored themselves into a rock/coral, is completely natural. However, the fact that your specimen has recently decided to do this could signify a negative reaction to a number of variables ... More in depth information would be needed to pinpoint a possible cause
