Id Please

Just starting to get my first signs of life on my previously dry rock. Someone Id'd this as Hydroids, however after looking a several pics of hydroids I'm not sure. The Hydroids look to have a stem with a kind of head with tentacles, these seem to be more of a stem with branches coming out all along. Any ideas?[IMG]

Should I try to get rid of them then before they spread?

Yes, I'd suggest putting some reef compatible epoxy over them.
