calcium reactor shut-down

My system has been doing pretty good for quite some time now and I'm not posting a question or forum for debate, I merely wanted to see if anybody had anything to say about this. I'm not overly concerned and eventually come up with a course of action. But a few months ago I shut down my cal rx for maint. parts replacements and retrofits. I continued supplimation with brs chemicals by hand with fairly good accuracy. I made no other system changes. Now most of my coral colors have turned vibrant, some have ceased growth while others have increased growth. Before I sit down and finish off a bottle of jack daniels to figure this out does anyone have any thoughts?

Coral coloration seems to be a complicated issue, involving a lot of different factors, so I doubt that I would draw any conclusions out of the changes. There are a lot of possibilities.

Sounds like some additives have increased or are better liked by the coral growth & color while the opposite is also true @ the same time.
Really an unknown in our world.

There are thousands of different species of corals and they come from all over the world from different environments. Just like people not all will like or react to the same foods and or supplements, some thrive some do not.
