Pallans 350 gallon

I took a break for awhile and have been slowly building my big in wall tank. This was a huge project so I closed down my tanks for a year while I built my basement around the tank. It’s taking me a long time to post this. Cause well I’m lazy... tank has been up and running for just about 2 years now. Had a battle with cyano last summer which by the time I beat it had wiped out my coral but I’m back and things are doing good.

Do you have a quarantine for new additions, or do you add tangs directly to the tank from your LFS?

I have a 40 breeder qt tank that I use. But I have been know to add with out qt on fish I know such as the blue tang he came from a client of the Lfs. I know that tank and that nothing new had been added to it for a long time. The fish went from its home of the past several years directly to my tank. The pin tail wrasse came from a lfs with incredible qt regime and treatment protocol. Came out of their qt and into tank. I just lost 3 wrasses in qt from a different source. They were new arrivals to the lfs they went into qt. One jumped out and died the other two died in qt with out showing signs of any illness so glad I qt them..
With stock list were it is. I plan to continue to qt any new fish but getting close to being done adding fish as well....
