You need a neptune controller with a phone cord to use a DC4.

i got the controler is the 10x built in or do i need the little control boxs too with the DC4 box

i want to use the DC4 for wave maker so i dont have so mimi power strips

Not to sure about the x10. My unit uses a phone cord to transmit info from the controller to the DC4.
Try the Neptune forum.

Make sure the phone cord you use is a 4 pin not a 2 pin. Radio shack sells them.

Plug phone cord into AC then into DC4 Viola!
