Question Relevance of preventative quarantine procedures.

What do you guys do for preventative treatment of new arrivals if they do not show signs of issues. I want to help prevent but don't want to risk hurting the fish with copper or a dip if they are perfectly healthy. So I'd like to know what procedures you guys follow through with as a staple for the quarantine procedure of new arrivals. I have a 20 gallon quarantine medication tank setup, a 46 gallon bow front holding tank, and my 135 gallon spa reef display.

I use Blue Life Safety Dip and then into the QT. I do not treat the QT unless there is a reason to do so.
