3/4” acrylic

Are there any tunze pumps that will work with this thickness? Looking at 6095 or stream for 100 gal (48x24x20)

All of them will with upgraded magnet holders but only 6155 and 6255 will out of the box. For the 6095 you would need to replace the stock magnet holder with 6025.500, for a 6105 you would need to replace only the outside magnet with 6205.501.

Is 3/4" uncommon for a big tank, foe which the stream was designed? Kinda a marketing deadend to by a pump with magnets that dont work, maybe a price incentive or something?

Are you guys taking about the tunze auto top off magnets? Yeah have the same problem with my magnets not working. When I called tunze they said I could buy an extra this or that’s to fix. ONLY another 40+ Shipping. I used duct tape.

Typically tanks all the way up to 180 gallons are done with 1/2" glass. It would be unusual for a 100 gallon tank to have 3/4" glass. We size the magnets they include in line with the size of tanks they are intended for and the typical glass thickness for these tanks.
