Do your Clownfish stay in the top corner?
Mine seem to never leave the top corner of the tank, coming up on 8 months.

the old pair i had stayed at the top right corner of the tank. my new pair of clowns swam directly into my BTA within seconds of being introduced into the tank. no corner humping for these ones

My first percula pair was always near the surface between the skimmer pump and pipes and completely ignored the BTA I had in the tank then. They continued that until I gave them a ceramic flowerpot.
My second pair went right into their flowerpot but now hangs out in the feeding corner to beg for food whenever I'm on my desk (the 3 QTs are right next to my desk). My other two pairs have anemones and pretty much only leave them for feeding.

I've had 2 pairs. The first pair did the exact same thing, had them for about 6 months. The new pair percula ocelliars started hosting pvc in the qt, but opted for the top corner in the DT. I've had two small rbta's since I got the new clowns. Maybe it's too much flow for clowns, when I turn it off I see them adventure out a little bit more but always going back to their corner.

Mine swim around all day, but then go to the top left corner to sleep.

I have some lazy clowns, only a 3 month old tank so could change, but they primarily hang out in the back. I added a flower pot and that brought them down to the rocks, they now spend a 50/50 time in the corner or in the pot, they will every now and the swim around the tank and come out to eat, but before they never did. Getting better

mine are in the lower left of the tank and currently digging out a nice little nest for themselves. Think they are too young to spawn but the behavior is sure fun to watch.

in my smaller tank the male would sleep in the top back right corner every night, femaile stayed lower. In the new bigger tank they both stay by the nems all night.

My maroon clowns hid in the corner, my guess from observation is bc there are other bigger fish/ aggressive eaters near by or there are no anemone that will host that species present/unoccupied, more likely seen in baby fish
My twin pink skunks also hid but closer to a juvenile pink skunk male thats hosted by yellow tip ritterii, hes doesnt like to share, lost his mate a few months back and been bitter ever since |

Hanging out in the corner is a sign of insecurity. I observed it a lot with those that got beaten up by other fish (usually also clowns) in the tank.
Clownfish only feel really secure if they have a host, ideally an anemone but surrogates like corals or ceramic flowerpots work as well.

Mine floated when the lights were out. During the day they hung out around a large group of paly I have. Completely ignoring my LTA. Then the male started sleeping in the paly at night. Months later the female finally joined him. They swim around lots. But return to the paly whenever they feel threatened. And the anemone is completely ignored by them. They have been with me for almost 3 years. The first pair I had loved the anemone. Go figure.

For over 2 years my clown stayed in the top corner of my tank but yesterday my 3 year daughters found "Nemo" on the floor. I think I was more upset than they were.

A simple $1 ceramic flowerpot can fix this unnatural and dangerous behavior and save the clowns lives.

The ocelleris I owned always hosted the flexible return lines in the top corner by overflow. My clarkis however dove head first into my Haddoni like sliding into home plate and never left it until I removed them.

Once I took mine out of quarantine from initial purchase and put into bigger DT it swims everywhere and looks much happier. Think it was cooped up in that little 10 gallon quarantine for sure!
