lanthanum chloride for phosphate
Forgive me if this is a repeat post, not sure what happened with the first one...
Do you have ano word on how lanthanum chloride is working in reef tanks? I know public aquaria and fish tanks seem to have done well over time with it, and medically it doesn't seem to produce bone deposition problems in dialysis patients and that seems reassuring. Also, the floc might be virtually completely removable if dripped into the skimmer intake with a filter pad on the outflow. Charles Matthews M.D. |

If one DESIRED to use Lanthanum Chloride as a Phosphate Remover....
And that desire might be questionable as to exportability, one quart of swimming pool Lanthanum Chloride would treat 2300 Gallons of water. Purchasing aquarium packaged Lanthanum Chloride is like purchasing pet rocks from someone who purchases a bag of rocks. |
