female to male Leopard Wrasse
I have two Blue Star Leopard Wrasses (bought 3, 1 died second day). They have been in the tank about 3 months.
Will one eventually turn female? Or, should I get a third? Male of female?

Male Leopards look completely different from females. It's really doubtful you have two males because 1) males aren't as commonly available as females and 2) multiple males in the same tank don't tolerate each other.
If you have two females, there's a good chance that one will turn male, just keep them fat and happy. |

I have not found gender change to be inevitable, even with just females. I've eight females (of differing species), some over 5 years old and no signs of gender change in any of them. I do have two meleagris in my refugium and one of them turned male.
