Red sea tests first use
My tank is fairly new just starting my 7th week. I purchased the red sea water test kits for alk, calc, and mag. Here are the results I came up with let me know what you think. My calcium is high but not sure if I should be concerned since I just added an orange monti cap, and coraline is growing like crazy, so it should drop it down to "normal" 450 range.
Red sea kit Alk 10.1 Calc 600 Mag 1380 Other readings API test kits Kent Reef Salt Specific Gravity 1.025 PH 8.3 Ammmonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 0 PH .2

The calcium is a bit high, but I wouldn't worry. I assume pH is 8.2? That's very good. The other numbers are all fine.

I guess I could have messed up the calcium test a bit too, I'll do them all again in a few days to be sure.

The calcium is a bit higher than I'd expect, but many salt products mix up to a fairly high level. I wouldn't worry much.
