You have my attention. Very nice. Are you at Mcgill?
How will you feed the Wavysea+? How much flow do you intend to put through each? thanks Del

Hey Dell, I am at HEC, its a business school affiliated with Montreal University.
I will feed them with my return pump, its a Dart on a OM 4 ways. Not sure on the version yet, but i guess i will go for the version that open 2 ways at the same time. 1,2-2,3-3,4-4,1 or 1,3-2,4. that should be around 1400-1500 on each output

Ah...Montreal. Such a beautiful city. If there was a requirement for me to live in a big city, yours would be the one.
How will you deploy the 4 units? One in each corner? Or do you have a different design in mind? Del

Thanks Del, I love Montreal! its a very nice city! Next time you come around, give me a PM, you are free to come by my place
Right now, they are place on each corner. Its more for a surface flow than anything else. The vortech will take care of the rest. Later on, if i see there is some important dead spot, i will put some more pump in there. What do you think?

I like your ideas. I plan to use Waveyseas as well and I also plan to attach Tunzes to them to hang lower in the tank and sweep the middle of the water column.

I also thought about that. I will see how it turns out and might do the same since i have one spare tunze 6100. My controllor is able to control 2 tunze so that could be cool too. I rather not have to put the tunze tho, for visual preference.

The final rush started at school, hopefully, i will be able to do a bit everyday on the tank. I have now 30 more amps for a total of 60 amps. I should be ok with that. The jackpost are done too, i am waiting for a engineer to come back and look if everything is ok before starting to fill it.

Hey Richard,
Can't wait to see more pics ! Just wondering, since you have the Propeller breeze fans, how they hook up to the Profilux controller ? Does it only use the L1L2 or L3L4 port ? Does it use up one of the sockets on the power bars ? I'm looking at ordering one to keep my 120g cool during the summer I was looking at getting the 4 fan model, I think it would be enough to keep my tank cool. I don't think I will need more then that, because I have a central air conditioning system in my condo, that keeps all the condo cool Have you tried yours out yet, just wondering if sound wise, they are quiet ? I've read that they are quite silent. Thanks, Chris |

Hey Chris
I havent look at it. My Tank is not fill up yet but once done, i will be reading the manuel and let you know. You need a chip for the propelle breeze to work on the profilux controller. Other than that, you wont need anything else. I also heard that the fans are very quiet and i am not worry about it. I rather have lots of those fans than a chiller. Looks like yours is already working! I guess i should be the one asking you question instead

Hey Rich,
Don't have my tank filled with water yet, still waiting for a couple of items before filling it, but I have been playing with the Profilux II controller and PC software for a couple of days now. So far, it's a great piece of equipement. It does have a couple of issues with the PC software and some limitations that I have pointed out to Matthias, so I'm hoping he will be able to implement/fix these issues in the next firmware release ! I think for the Properller, you just need the fans and the control unit, that will be connected to the L1L2 or L3L4 port of the Profilux. I've read you can also run them, without the Profilux unit, but they will be on 100% all the time. Can't wait to get my Wireless card so that I can control it from work. Overall, the controller is great, but since I haven't used it much yet I can't say if I would recommend it over the Aquatronica or any other device. Chris |

One thing I'm a little dissapointed though with the Profilux II controller, is the lack of "send me an email if alarm goes on" option.
Maybe it's because I don't have the LAN/WLAN card, because it says: "Alarms and; remote control - Using a LAN / W-LAN module you are able to receive alarm e-mails, and have complete remote control via the internet (with LAN / W-LAN models)" in the advertissement. But, I haven't seen how I can set this via the PC software or on the Controller yet. Matthias told me it was possible, but he hadn't translated the instructions in English yet. I'm waiting for his instructions |

I have been told that its possible and i am sure if its not the case not, the next update should make it possible. If Matthias told your so, then its possible
