Vertex In-80 or In-100 is a nice one. That would be my recommendation. Great reviews.

I have a 34G cube 20x24x16 I was using a Tunez nano skimmer for a while then I upgraded to a remora HOB skimmer, but I also have my sump built in the back of the tank.

I would go with a tunze, or an aqua c remora. Both I hear almost nothing but positive reviews. the tunze its a little cheap feeling, but works great, and the remora is a little loud but both are great skimmers.
