Cs1 question?

On your website the dimensions of the cs 1 are 9"x10" is that the footprint of the base or is that the amount you need to operate the skimmer effectively the base diameter is 7.5". The space in my sump will acomidate 8"x12" and I was I was wondering if this was an option.

9" is the outer diameter of the widest part of the skimmer (the bottom cone flange).

That said, if you wanted to trim down the flange with a drum sander on a dremel tool, you could make this work. Would not take more than 15 minutes and if you just squared off two sides it would not interfere with the hardware attachment points or the operation of the skimmer.

I have another quick question. I was wondering when and if you are going to do another build video for the peg leg variant the one that is up there now is still for the old one. I find that if I have a visual representation of the process I can accomplish it better. I think that is why I have read "This Thread Need Pics" about a million times over the last couple of years.
Thanks Brian
PS. Thanks for the quick turnaround on the last question.

Hi Brian,

New videos are coming soon. We keep meaning to get them done and then a crazy shipping day comes along and they don't get finished. We have several to make though so it is a high priority.

Justin
