Hitch hiking starfish

So I just bought a sponge and have it acclimatising at the moment.
But I just noticed a little starfish on it, its about 2 inches in diameter with skinny legs. Its a beige-ish colour with dark red "hairs" all over it.
Looks a bit like a brittle star.
While I have the chance, should I keep it out of my tank or let him in?
Thanks.

Probably a micro brittle star. They're harmless detrivores.

I'm sure you have more, I usually don't see mine until the lights come on for the day, and you can see their arms sticking out of crevasses all over the rock
