Radion Recommendation

Im considering a 48x48x24 or 36x36x24 mixed reef tank.

What arrangement/configuration of XR15 Pro and/or XR30 Pros would you recommend for each tank size? Id also like to use the diffusers.

Thanks, Brian

I’d get two XR30 Pros lengthwise over the tank

From the research and talks I've had for the 48X you'd need 4 of the XR30's at a minimum to avoid shadows etc or 4 plus some T5. For the 36x it gets tougher and depends on what you plan to keep where, for my 300DD I was told I'd probably end up with 6 30's for a heavier SPS load for a more mixed combo you could probably do 2 30's as long as you added some T5.

That's not from personal experience just a lot of reading and talking to people who have used them. I ended up just staying with an 8 bulb T5 fixture I had that grew SPS like crazy.
