There is some commentary on ReefBlah.com (popular blog, can't say it here) and also in the reef discussion forum about how this show is likely to be more of a detriment then a blessing for the hobby. It seems that the chosen group of aquarium maintenance/fabricators that the show focuses on is more like an Orange County Choppers (and come with all the drama) type of group then an educational type of group.
That being said I'm still going to watch it.
