GHA Help
So for about 6 months my 29 gallon biocube has been doing great and thriving. I added some mexican turbo snails to help combat anything that were to arise in my tank and they seemed to be doing their job. Over a week all 3 of them suddenly died which from my research seems to be common with this species due to them coming from a colder climate. Anyway I think the spike in nitrates was from their decaying tissues. So now I have a GHA problem and it is quite annoying and frusterating because it just makes me feel like im failing my tank.
I do 5 gallon water changes weekly I run GFO and and Carbon together in my BRS Reactor I add a pinch of food to feed my 1 clownfish daily as well as mysis(without the dirty water from when it thaws) every 1-2 weeks for my LPS and anemone I have intank's media basket that has chemi pure elite and purigen I also have AquaticLife Internal Mini Protein Skimmer 115 running 24/7 Nitrates and Phosphates are reading low but Im sure that's from the GHA sucking up all the nutriets Is there anything else I can be doing to help get rid of this outbreak |

You say your param's are low, but whats low?
I have a small GHA issue as well in my biocube, I pull out the rock and scrub it off with a toothbrush and aggressively run GFO(I change it out weekly). It has cleared up quite a bit now, and its only been 2 weeks.

Scrub off what you can get to, and let it run its course, unless its becoming a nuisance to your corals. I'm by no means an expert, but just scrubbing it off the rocks, mine has significantly cleared itself up. Unfortunately it's part of having a new tank.
