ripped my hairy mushroom
So i accidentally ripped a part of my hairy mushroom today while cleaning. It looks like it lots a little bit of its guts. It released a white-ish film or something soon after. Will the mushroom regrow and survive? Also is the white stuff it released going harm the rest of the tank?

It should be fine, sounds like it's just a little stressed from getting torn. I wouldn't worry about it, and whatever white stuff it released is harmless too.

I had a big hairy shroom attached to a rock that I wanted to remove. It the process, I mangled it and ripped it apart into multiple pieces and threw it in my sump. A few months later I had multiple new shrooms. My point is that these are hard to destroy.

You will be fine. You can even propagate shrooms by cutting from their base and into quarters. A tear will heal with little problem in a healthy tank.

I have ripped countless mushrooms - usually end up with twice as many
