Hitchhiker Clam ID

This isnt a tridacnid im pretty sure.
It was attached onto a rock. Its pretty big... about 3 inches across?
Has two holes, like all clams.

I would like to know what this is, and if its harmful. Im pretty sure its a filter feeder, but any ideas?

Not harmful. It's probably an oyster of some sort, maybe a Chama species.

Cheers,

Don
