phosban reactor question

Hey i have a life reef chemical module plumbed into my tank running between 500 and 1500 g/h i was wondering if i could put the phosban media into it and run it like a phosban reactor? I know it would not be a reactor but the flow through the module is like a reactor. Any thoughts would be great.

Well, phosban and media like it are generally best used and most effective if they just gently "tumble" in the water in the reactor. What you look for is some elevation with again, a gentle suspension. I think that the kind of flow you have would be way too strong to achieve that condition. Maybe you can apply a ball-valve so you could "step down" the flow through the "module" that you have already. In that case, you may well be able to use it for that purpose.
