Crocea Clam Super Colored 3 in. to 4 in.
I just added a third Crocea.
The new Crocea is the first clam on the left side. I will be receiving a Gold Maxima at 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" tomorrow as I have one more place along the left front substrate ready to set this one. Photos on the way on my new Crocea and new Maxima. This will make three of each species to filter nitrates.

That is one beautiful Maxima!!!!!!!!
That is a very nice specimen.
I just acclimated my 1 1/4" gold Maxima tonight in the dark. The living rook lights are out and only the light above the kitchen sink is on which leaves the tank almost completely dark. The little fellow had a foot on him about 1/2" which I buried in the crushed coral along the left front substrate with live rock on the left and right side to prevent flyovers of fish knocking it over constantly. I had to coral my Blue Cook Island Maxima in the center front substrate with a piece of live rock on the left and right side. I used to have to right him once and a while and now he maintains himself upright without any regular assistance from me.

I have two maximas and three croceas.
Would it be feasible to put a deresa clam in my tank which can grow to a length of 24"? Do they grow to that size in an aquarium? Do the Maximas reach 12" and the Croceas reach 6" in an aquarium? I could do another crocea on the front crushed coral substrate where the others are located as there is 200 lbs of live rock going back towards the back glass the length of my tank.
