CaRx output into skimmer?

OK, so not directly into the skimmer, but into the internal overflow that gravity feeds my skimmer. I'm just looking for a way to more efficiently blow off any excess CO2 in the reactor effluent. I'm just worried precipitation might increase on the magnet in the recirc pump. Anyone doing this? Anyone see any problems with it?
