Moving Red Sea Max Nano
Need to move the 20 gallon tank across town, and unfortunately will likely have to move the tank twice due to timing. Only have a few corals, 2 fish, pistol shrimp and cuc. The sand bed is 1-1 1/2”.
I have to be out of our current house by 6pm, but don’t get access to our new house until 5pm. How long can fish survive in a car/brute container unregulated? The move is only 40 mins apart. Or I can set them up temporarily at my parents so I don’t have to deal with them right away. Imagine would be short enough of time frame would just put heater and pump in a brute container. Would you keep the sand or just use fresh, since it’s a small amount? As always appreciate your thoughts/experiences, Lost |

Fishes and corals can survive hours in a bucket unless the temperature is extreme. if you can add battery airpump for it, that would be great. Whatever you do, get rid of the sand. Also mix some new water for emergency.
