How do you set Ph2 to control PH on an Apex.

I would like to use ph2 ( the second Ph port) to control my Calcium Reactor.
I have the second port enable and can see a reading from the second probe.
My question is, how would you program the outlet so it can read and control the second Ph probe?
in the Program Outlet I dont have the option to select probe 2

PH Program
Fallback: off
Probe: Ph <------------ why can i not select PH2
High Value: 6.90
Low Value: 6.50
On when: high

Are you trying this from the web interface of the Apex Display? From the web interface, you just type "pH2" in the field and click Update Outlet. Did you try that?

Is pH2 listed on your main status page? What version of firmware are you running?

Have you enabled PH2? By default the second probe is ORP and if you want to use the second probe as a PH probe yo uwill need to use the PH menu and "Enable" it (select Enable option, mive up/down to select PH2 and enable; this will disable ORP). Once you enable PH2 it will be available to program.

Question

Sorry to drag up this old topic, but this isn't working for me. I have activated PH2 but when I try to use it, it tells me it isn't available.

I'm having this same problem and I did update both the firmware and the webpages. The ph2 probe is enabled and the ORP is disabled. any help?

Bumping an old thread here but I am having this exact same problem. Current on firmware. ORP disabled, pH2 enabled. But it won't allow me to select it for alarms. The only option is pH. Any ideas?

Anyone have an answer for the above? I seem to having the same issue. It will not let me select pH2 in advanced programming or the standard program for the CO2.

Thanks

Try changing the name of the pH2 probe to something else. Like CaRx.

Setup> Probe Setup> pH Setup > pH Name> pH2 > CaRx > OK

I named the probe ph2. Using a lower case h worked.

This is using the display screen, not the classic web interface
