Coral Banded Shrimp

Hey guys! I really want to get a cbs to add to my 50-gal reef. Only problem is I have an adult Valentini puffer, melanurus wrasse, and convict blenny. All of these are noted as non-invertebrate safe/ safe with caution. I've only ever seen my puffer eat snails, and one hermit crab (he typically leaves the hermits alone). I've never put a shrimp in the tank but I'm fairly certain he would mess with a smaller one. I had an emerald crab in there but the Valentini never messed with him. Idk if it was because emerald crabs are good at hiding, the carapace, or that my emerald would shove the Valentini away whenever he got too close, but my crab was always fine. I was wondering if a well sized cbs would do okay with them because of their claws? My pufferfish is pretty jumpy and shy, so I feel like if the shrimp fought back he'd be okay? I don't want any issues though.

Sidenote: if I get two young ones, could I make them a mated pair?

I wouldn't waste your money. Even if the puffer left it alone, that wrasse will make quick work of it.
