Welcome All
Glad to have a place on RC that folks in the FL panhandle and surrounding areas can hang out. I am new to the hobby and in the process of building my first SW tank. It is a 180g tank. Been working on it for a while to get everything done right but getting close now to putting water in it and getting it started.
Hoping to be able to connect with other locals for advice and trading frags when I get to that point. Brad |

Hey thanks big dog for getting the ball rolling on this! Good luck with your set up and keep us updated on how things are going. Maybe setup a build thread if you haven't already!

Yet? Mattscoralconnection has been here for a while. They have a great selection and will work with you if you want anything special. Best out of the 2 we have available here by far. Petland is the only other place and the last time i was there i left very upset at how they treated their fish.
Also, i bought a blenny from them months ago. All was going well the guy got the fish out bagged it and walked it up to the desk and set it down. The check out was where things got bad. The lady had to switched registers so instead of picking up the bag she rolled it the 3ish feet to the other one. I was shocked. The blenny died within 2 days of having it. Matts is the only place i go to buy any live stock / rocks. |

Wow driving from FWB to PC seems like a cross country trip. When I would go from Santa Rosa Beach to the mall in PC it was one hour one way.

I broke down a 46 gallon & set-up a nuvo 16 gallon reef tank. Uded some of the live rock and water from the old tank. It's been running for about three weeks now.

I may be interested in some of the SPS in the next couple weeks. Depends on the cost of a current project and the cost of your frags. lol. What do you have available and what are you thinking to charge? Also, where are you located?

I'm across the line in Al, but I'd like to try and contribute to this emerald coast forum. Seems like most of the stuff I buy or sale is in the P'cola area.
How's the cycling process going BigDog? What are you planning on keeping? LPS, Softies, SPS or all the above?

SantaMonica, I never realized you were from the gulf coast. That's pretty cool, one of the pioneers of reef keeping is from our area.
Guys if y'all don't know who he is, just google ATS SantaMonica.
